Create and send styled newsletters from posts

Users have requested a way to create a newsletter populated with a list of articles/posts from their WordPress sites.

We are currently looking into vendor-built and campus-built plugins for this functionality.

Important questions include:

• Would the email send straight from WordPress? Any issue with having WordPress send high quantities of emails?
• How do bounce backs get handled?
• Does this require education on proper email marketing techniques?
• How would users opt out of these emails?
• Can we create something that would generate the code that could be placed into another email marketing tool like WiscList or MailChimp?
